I just recently got this, in addition to 1988's Spirit Of Eden. I'm quite impressed. It's like Radiohead before Radiohead. Well, actually quite unlike anything I've ever heard.

that album's fantastic, been spinning it a lot lately. When I first heard it I thought it was too abstract and not cohesive enough. Hollis's voice was quite a hurdle as well. However, after a few weeks it grew to become one of my all time favorite albums. Spirit of eden should be arriving soon in my mailbox.

well, it's an ep so there isn't much to it. the song "ultimatum" is unbelievably beautiful, maybe one of the best songs i have heard in a long while. the rest of the ep is good solid pop songwriting. makes me want to hear their earlier stuff now...
