never heard of it. but danny devito is kinda cool. he was in that movie screwed and yeah, that wasnt very good. but still hes kinda cool.

the tv show is really funny. i'm not sure why i stopped watching it last season.

it's on FX. It was first paired w/ Starved.

This show still has support, something Arrested Development didn't have too much after Gail Berman left FOX.

They cater their bar to young kids because they feel it's their social responsibility to give them a "safe" place to drink.

"then we can water down the drinks and rack up the profits!!!"

that drinking dealy alone sounds hilarious...maybe i shall check it out.

Best non-animated comedy on tv. Love this show, they made child molestation accusations funny. And yes, the Nazi episode was just off the hook. (I think that's how the kids say it these days).

Mr. Belding was in the molestation episode!!!

this show is great. starved was pretty good as well. fx had to make a choice on which to bring back as they didn't have enough money to promote both. there wasn't going to be enough material with starved.

i have to go back and watch some of those first season episodes again. the prom and nazi episodes were the standouts...as well as the ep where they buy the gun for protection.

The gun is great, especially at the end where they decide to keep it once the girl leaves the room despite shooting one of their own.

Yes. Very funny show. My favorite was the abortion episode..."Soooo, I really think you should get an abortion"

These scenarios sound totally unfunny, if they can get laughs out of this stuff, they must be good! I am all for pushing envelopes though, if I see another "Evevrybody Loves Raymond" style sitcom, cute small furry animals are gonna die.

This show is just too much for me at times. It seriously is one of the funniest shows on tv right now. I have already watched the first season twice and can't wait to watch season 2.

I just love the preview for the next one where they show Dennis's mom wanting to sleep with Mac, and then Charlie tells Dennis he needs to do something just as bad to get even. Then its ding-dong with Dennis holding flowers and chocolate and Mac's mom opening the door.

And I love Danny Devito when he gets his own wheel-chair with the Christifer Reeve's controls and he's like "I'm really moving the chair with my joystick, but the girls don't notice"

Hilarious show. One of the only laugh out loud funny shows on TV right now. There were two very solid episodes on last night. At one point in the second episode they argue about if the word "jew" is a racial slur or not. They come to the conclusion that it is not, but only when used in the right context

And I caught the first two episodes of this season last night. Really funny stuff. The first episode outweighed the second I thought in overall laughs, but overall it was a pretty hilarious show. Definitely will check it out from now on.

catching it for the first time tonight. Pretty outstanding so far.

I respect any show with the temerity to name an episode "Mac Bangs Dennis' Mom".

yeah that first episode was absolutely awesome. becoming crack addicts=hilarious.

the second episode was good, but overall not as great. my friend text messaged me during the 2nd episode, though, to tell me he thought all the characters were Gob from A.D. It was his first time watching the show, but yeah, i see the coorelation well.

I thought both episodes were great last night.

I've enjoyed all but the very first episode this season.

I watched a commercial thing for this show on the MySpace site, and there was also a video where Danny Devito and Mike Patton were interviewing each other or talking about the good old days or something. It turned out to be really boring, so I stopped watching a least a minute in.

Gotta love any show that features two of its main characters becoming crack addicts so they can try and get on welfare.

It has its moments, but it's not as funny as it acts like it is. The guy who plays Charlie deserves better material and will be the only one out that cast (aside from DeVito obviously) who has a chance at a career when this show gets axed.

Yeah, Charlie and the sister are the best parts of the show.

that part killed me. I still chuckle remembering it.

Charlie was killing me when he was yelling into the phone and then he puts it down and doesn't even hang it up. Too much. I enjoyed both episodes. Charlie crying at the end cracked me up and made me sad at the same time.

Anyone see the two this week? Hundred Dollar Baby may have had the darkest ending yet, but Charlie in training for street fighting was definately a sight.

yeah last week's was really good. the ending was something i wanted to burst out laughing at, but was gasping as to how it all finished up. it was shocking, but awesome.

and the episode from last season that was on right after may have been my favorite episode of anything i have seen in a long time. getting kids drunk and taking them to prom is always hilarious.

i'm still waiting on the torrents but i heard about the ending though and what frank did sounds hilarious

This show just isn't as funny as it was the first season.

That rerun of Charlie Gets Cancer they showed last night pretty much destroyed anything they've done this year. Same thing for the abortion episode.

I don't know, "Charlie Gets Cancer" was one of the weaker first-season episodes. Saw it again last night and it was good, but not great.

Even so, a weak season one episode is way better than the best of what they've done so far this season.

Every episode seems like they are trying way too hard this year.

Last night's was pretty weak, but they've had some good ones. I liked last week's with the basketball game. Was the one where they become crack addicts so they can get on welfare from this season? I loved that one.
